We've got bags to Hug
Our Mission
No more textile waste. Sounds good right? Too bad.. Each year we throw away 92 billion (92.000.000.000!) kilos of clothing.
@huginmybag, we’re on a mission to make a change in this wasteful culture of Fast Fashion. No high-tech solutions, just re-value what’s already there: a pile of clothes full of special memories. We pass on those stories, by giving used materials a second life.
We show the world that we just have to ‘hug’ what we already have.

Our Story
Our Story
It all began seven years ago, when Jolien started crafting unique storybags from repurposed materials.
“With my background in textiles, I couldn’t ignore the issues within the fashion industry. Particularly our mindset about fashion. We no longer value clothing, we easily trow it away when we don’t like it anymore. That’s the reason why I started my first brand called Old2Gold”
Driven by a passion for positive change, Jolien realized that the impact of her creations could only reach its full potential by making them available to a larger public and so the little sister of Old2Gold, Hug, was born.
